I recieved a message from Debbie Webster yesterday and she has lost her horse Thor on Feb 10, 2009. Debbie and Thor attended many dressage shows all over oklahoma, and won many titles with the Arabian Horse Association and Recognzied Shows with ODS.
Our prayers and thoughts go out to you Debbie and your family.

For those of you who did not know Windhorse Thor, I would like to take a few minutes to tell you a little bit about him. He was half Arabian half Fresian, so he was truly unique in appearence as well as demeanor. He was playful, elegant, and most of all a dream for all to watch. He and Debbie had a bond that can never be replaced. He was her dream horse... Thor competed in Sport Horse in hand, Sport Horse Under Saddle, Show Hack, and Dressage. This year Debbie did outstanding with him in the show arena. She participated in the Fresian Nationals, and she planned on competing him in the US Arabian/Half-Arabian Sport Horse Nationals. She and I planned to attend together.
Thor was also a miracle boy, as a little over a year ago, he suffered a HORRIBLE accident, he reared up in the pasture and a T-Post went through his side and out the top of his withers- Debbie managed to remove him from his predicament, and hauled him to OSU where he underwent several surgeries, and through Debbie's determination and strong desire to save her boy, Thor made it and made a full recovery, and entered the show ring with all the grace and dignity he displayed before. He truly was an AMAZING horse and will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. Rest in Peace Thor.... We will miss you....
