Hello Fellow GCC Members!
BOTH schooling shows scheduled for next week-end have been rescheduled due to the now rained soaked parking area. Listed below are the new dates for each show:
March 13th Dressage Schooling Show at Rocking C Stables has been rescheduled to April 24th at the Rocking C.
March 14th GCC Dressage Schooling Show also at the Rocking C has been rescheduled to April 11th, same location.
Please update your schedules AND if you see that we have left off someone from this email list, please let us know!

We have an opportunity to bring a Racewood Dressage Simulator to Oklahoma. If you have ever seen flight simulators this is a similar concept except that you are sitting on a "horse" which has sensors in the saddle, on its sides, and on its head and neck. This horse is capable of performing all dressage movements from the walk to flying changes to piaffe and everything in between. Lessons are 45 minutes long and will be about $125. It will probably be mid October to early November before it can come to OK. Please look at the attached documents which include links to websites and a YouTube video.
We need to determine if there is enough interest in riding the simulator. Please e-mail us NOW if you would like to ride or we will have to pass on this opportunity. Anne Kuhns akuhns@atlasok.com and Sherry Guess guessdrsg@aol.com

Hello Fellow GCC Members!
Please add to your calendars our first educational meeting, Dressage 101 with Laurie Hedlund. Laurie will present arena etiquette, schooling show dress, and other helpful information for the dressage competitor at the Horse of Course in Claremore beginning at 1pm on Sunday March 7th. This event is free!!! Donations will be accepted for a Junior Rider Week-end camp to be held (hopefully) later in the year, if you would like to help support this, we will have a donation box there. Horse of Course (HOC) has all their winter clothing on sale 50% off and GCC members will get an additional 10% off.
Please bring finger foods to share. HOC will provide some as well. Drinks and table service will be provided. We will have some chairs, but if those who could would bring chairs, that would be great! Carpooling is also a good idea if you can...as parking may be tight!
Please RSVP if you are planning to attend as HOC would like to know how many to expect. If anyone needs directions you can go to http://www.thehorseofcourse.com/html/who_we_are.html to find a map.
Ladies on the GCC Board, we will meet AFTER the program.
We hope to see you ALL there!
